From Christmas Eve there will be three disturbances that will involve Italy. The southern winds will bring, from December 24th, the first rains in the afternoon-evening on Tuscany and Liguria, then on Piedmont and Lombardy. On the 25th, showers spread throughout the North but also in Sardinia, Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, and of greater intensity in Liguria and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The southerly winds will become more sustained as temperatures increase. The snow on the Alps will fall abundantly starting from about 1300 meters and on the Apennines over 1800 meters.

“The second disturbance - explain the iLMeteo.it experts will instead come to Santo Stefano. The perturbed front will be stronger than the previous one and fed by colder air at high altitude. Moderate to heavy rains are expected over much of the North, but especially in Liguria and Friuli Venezia Giulia. Local water bombs may also occur on Tuscany and Lazio. Thanks to the colder air at high altitude, the snow will fall abundantly on the Alps above 1000 meters and on the Apennines starting from 1500 meters ".

The third disturbance is expected on Monday 27 December, but temperatures will tend to increase with peaks of 15-18 ° C in the Center-South, 10-12 ° C in the Northeast and 5-8 ° C in the Northwest.
