Triei, after two years relives the feast of S'Orroseri

The pandemic managed to block the tradition of S'Orroseri but not to suppress it.

With willpower, after two years of hiatus, the sisters of the Madonna del Rosario take up the feast of blessed bread which, today, returns to its (almost) complete ritual.

The only exception, compared to the centuries-old tradition, is the management of the delivery and collection of sa simbula from the home of the obriera, Lucia Sagheddu.

The usual morning home delivery is not foreseen , but the community will collect the blessed bread directly in the afternoon, packed by the producers who have made themselves available by meeting the needs expressed by the brotherhood.

The distribution will take place in the S'Arcu district with a precise order dictated by tradition. In compliance with the same, priority will be given to widows and widowers of the country.
