Travel the wrong way with the van on state 466, the alarm of motorists

He was traveling the wrong way in his Nissan Cabstar van. And when the military tried to stop him, he continued on his way for a few kilometers.

It happened yesterday on state road 466, near Ussana. It was some passing motorists who raised the alarm at the Carabinieri Operations Center, seeing the truck traveling in the wrong direction.

When the Nucleo Radiomobile patrol was alerted, it identified the van in the direction of Serdiana which was invading the opposite lane. Reached, the driver was repeatedly instructed to pull over with emergency light and acoustic devices.

The driver instead continued for a few kilometers until he ended up against the car of a worker from San Sperate, who came from the opposite direction.

The 118 personnel were also on site who transported the two involved, not seriously injured, to the hospital in Cagliari.
