Tragedy in Nurri: Child dies after being hit by tractor driven by father

Little Lorenzo Spano didn't make it , he died this afternoon around 3.30pm under the wheels of his father Stefano's tractor.

It happened in Nurri , in the Guzzini area, on a normal spring afternoon. The Isili Carabinieri, emergency medical services, a helicopter rescue service, and the fire department responded to the scene, but despite their immediate intervention, the child died.

Instead , the young mother Manuela, expecting her second child, was loaded into the ambulance .

A tragedy that froze the small community of Sarcidano, where silence fell.
