Masainas, a 26-year-old soldier from Capo Teulada, lost control of his motorcycle and died. A young woman was seriously injured.

Dramatic accident in Masainas. According to initial reports, around 7:00 this morning, Simone Convertini, a 26-year-old soldier from Puglia who worked in Capo Teulada, died after losing control of his motorcycle in the town.

A young woman was also on board the vehicle and was seriously injured . The alarm was raised immediately, and ambulances from 118 arrived on the scene. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for the man.

The woman, however, was transported to Brotzu Hospital by an ambulance with a red code due to the fractures she sustained in the accident. According to initial information, no other vehicles were involved.

State Road 195 at the entrance to the town was closed, causing significant inconvenience to motorists over the August bank holiday weekend. The road also leads to the beaches of Porto Pino and towards Teulada.
