A 50-year-old worker died this evening due to an accident at work in a logistics company between Monastir and San Sperate.
The dynamics of the tragedy have yet to be clarified, on the spot there are the carabinieri who are carrying out the investigations.
Around 8 pm the man, according to an initial reconstruction, was working on a scaffolding or a ladder when he lost his balance and fell to the ground making a flight of several meters.
He immediately lost consciousness.
His colleagues raised the alarm and 118 and the military arrived.
The medical staff tried in every way to save the life of the worker, but all was in vain.
