It is estimated that the overall turnover exceeds 3.7 billion euros - approximately 8% of the GDP - and the goal is to grow and grow further.

The picture is from Ross1000, the regional system for detecting and processing the sector : last year the total number of arrivals was 4,441,322 (+13.76% compared to 2023), the number of presences was 18,860,976 (+15.4%), and the average stay was 4.25 days (against the previous 4.19). The Tourism Councillor Franco Cuccureddu speaks of "never seen before data, truly sensational, also considering the fact that the previous ones recorded an increase of 1.3% achieved only thanks to occasional rentals, while Istat, which took into account exclusively the hotel and non-hotel sector, gave a drop in presences".
