Tortolì, two accidents in three kilometers on the 125: five injured in hospital

Two accidents within three kilometers of the Nuova Orientale. The morning's toll is five people hospitalized in Lanusei and four cars damaged.

The first happened at 8.15 on the southern outskirts of Tortolì, on the old track that leads from the roundabout to the Agricultural Institute . A Volkswagen Golf, driven by a woman resident in Bari Sardo but originally from Tortolì, hit a BMW that was entering the old 125 from the school building area. The driver of the Golf and the two occupants of the BMW, a man from Tortolì and a woman from Orgosolo, were hospitalized. The Tortolì firefighters, 118 personnel, the police and the Carabinieri of the Lanusei company intervened.

The second, shortly before 10, occurred in the Bari Sardo area, at the height of the contested stop sign in the section inaugurated in July 2023. Two women were involved: one from Lotzorai and the other from Tertenia. The cause of the last one was a failure to give way between those exiting the lane coming from the Cea junction and those travelling on the Orientale straight. In this case too, the Tortolì firefighters, the 118 and the Carabinieri of the Lanusei radiomobile section operated.

The five injured were transported to the emergency room with yellow code .
