A 63-year-old resident of Tortolì was arrested for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing.

The searches, which took place between Tortolì and Girasole, were conducted by the Carabinieri of the Lanusei company as part of an extraordinary territorial control service aimed at combating drug dealing and crimes in general.

The men of the Territorial Army operated with the support of the anti-drug and anti-explosive dog units of the Cacciatori di Sardegna and with the help of the Carabinieri Labor Inspectorate unit.

The drugs were also found thanks to the nose of the drug-sniffing dog Brigi. During the same search, in land owned by the man in Girasole, the presence of various types of waste was ascertained and on his part, so much so that further criminal liability could be recognized for having carried out special and urban waste collection activities. , dangerous or not, effectively creating a real unauthorized landfill.

Furthermore, following further checks on the contributory position of the suspect, omissions for social security contributions amounting to 19,273.88 euros were detected.

The action to prevent and repress crimes and the constant control of the territory, implemented by the Carabinieri of the Lanusei company, will continue in the next few days without interruption.
