Francesco Cicero is the extraordinary commissioner of the Municipality of Tortolì .
He was appointed by the president of the Region Christian Solinas, on the proposal of the councilor for local authorities, Aldo Salaris. The assignment was conferred late yesterday evening, during the session of the regional executive. Cicero, 78 years old, Calabrian from Cropalati and Cagliari by adoption for almost half a century , was director of the Municipality of Cagliari for twenty years, general manager in the Region and commissioner in various towns on the island, the last of which are Decimoputzu and Arbus.
He lived in Turin and Milan, before choosing Cagliari where he took root. In his curriculum also the position of official at the University, in Law, where he graduated, and in 1988 he crossed the threshold of the Municipality.
In Tortolì Cicero, an expert man of the institutions, takes over the administrative legacy of Massimo Cannas , whose mandate (the second in a row) ended on 24 January following the resignation of 9 directors. Among other commitments, the commissioner will convene electoral rallies in view of the forthcoming spring consultations.
