The clash at the intersection between Via Canonico Melis and Via Foddeddu was violent. The motorbike driven by a young man originally from Lanusei hit a car traveling in the opposite direction, along the southern ring road of Tortolì .

The accident happened around 7pm today and the road system, in one of the sections with the highest traffic density in the urban network, immediately went haywire. While the dynamics of the accident are still being examined by the police, what is certain is that the centaur was thrown onto the asphalt and was bruised.

The volunteer staff of the Green Cross of Tortolì, who arrived on site in a few moments due to the proximity of the headquarters, provided initial treatment to the injured person before transporting him to the emergency room of the Lanusei hospital.

During the rescue operations he always remained alert and conscious . The doctors subjected him to tests: fractures are suspected. The Tortolì firefighters and local police officers were also on site.
