Since this morning, it was necessary to pay the utmost attention when crossing the raised ford along the Flumendosa between Villaputzu and Muravera. In the end, a few minutes ago, given the continuous increase in the flow of water on the river , it was decided to close access to the ford . This is the third time that the raised ford, the only rapid connection route to Villaputzu, has been temporarily closed . A situation of great discomfort for the entire Sarrabus that hopes for the completion of the renovation works on the iron bridge, closed for a year and a half now.

The raised ford, built thanks to the municipal administration of Villaputzu («even though it was not our responsibility», Mayor Porcu has always reiterated), allows us to somehow overcome the inconvenience even if the problem remains.
