Thirteen families of Afghan asylum seekers landed in Olbia this morning.

These are 51 people, including 23 minors, the youngest being only two months old.

All identification and reception operations were carried out safely and without problems, with the assistance of the machine set in motion by the Prefecture of Sassari.

The Afghan citizens, after being assisted and refreshed, left for the various destination facilities, which are located in various parts of the island.

15 will be hosted in structures in the province of Sassari, 5 in the Oristano area, 7 in the Nuorese area, the remaining 24 in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and in the province of South Sardinia.
