Third doses for over 40s, in Sardinia we start on November 24th. The island is behind on calls, Nieddu: "People don't book"

Reservations for third doses for over 40s also start in Sardinia. 40-59 year olds will be able to book themselves starting from Wednesday 24 November, Councilor Nieddu said after Commissioner Figliuolo and Minister Speranza decided to bring the recall campaign for the same age group.

Sardinia is behind on the booster dose, as the data of the Gimbe Foundation certify: the coverage rate is 46.9% for the island, against an Italian average of 53.53%.

"The reason is simple - explains Nieddu -, people do not book. We are evaluating the opportunity of information campaigns to solicit membership".

All the hubs are operational, explains the exponent of the Giunta Solinas who does not exclude the use of the Open days also for the third doses, as largely done for the first.
