Yesterday evening, shortly after 8 pm, they entered the building intended as a summer and winter colony of the San Filippo Neri oratory, in the locality of Sa Tiria, in Dolianova.

The protagonists are three subjects, with their faces covered by a balaclava, who after having ripped off the grating of a French window in the main hall of the structure, and forced the relative aluminum frame, have therefore raided various furnishings, foodstuffs and cameras of the video surveillance system, then loading everything onto a Citroen Picasso car, parked nearby, with which they tried to escape.

Surprised by the carabinieri, the criminals ended up with the car in a ditch on the side of the road: two managed to escape, while the third was stopped and identified.

It is a 54-year-old from Dolianova, a worker, arrested for aggravated theft in competition with others, currently unknown.

The man was placed under house arrest pending the hearing with a very direct procedure, scheduled for this morning at the Court of Cagliari.

The stolen goods, recovered, were returned to the diocesan oratory.
