Two young men in trouble for the theft that took place in a tobacco shop in Iglesias.

It concerns a 22-year-old boy originally from Ozieri and a resident of Nughedu San Nicolò, with previous charges against him, and a 19-year-old girl from Cagliari residing in Domusnovas and with a clean record.

At 2.30 in the night the carabinieri stopped them in via San Lucifero in Cagliari: they were on board a Citroen C4 reported as a vehicle used by the perpetrators of the theft perpetrated against the Granella Alessia tobacconist's shop in Iglesias .

In the cockpit, the soldiers found 5 cartons of cigarettes, another 103 packets, eight packs of electronic cigarettes and other smoking material, as well as 160 euros in coins . All perfectly attributable to that theft. The boys were also in possession of three switchblades, a tactical knife, two chisels and a hammer, while another 16 packs of cigarettes were found in the young man's house.

All the material was seized and the two were deferred for handling stolen goods, unjustified carrying of weapons and driving without a licence. In fact, the 22-year-old never obtained a driving license, despite this he was driving.
