At the port of Oristano everything is ready for the transport of the gigantic shovels destined to be installed from Villacidro to Domusnovas.

The towers and turbines landed last April 22nd, after a passage to the Canary Islands. Since then they have been placed on the quay of the industrial port in western Sardinia.

In recent weeks , the pitches have been leveled and the trees cut along the route to be taken by the exceptional transport.

«They are starting to load the towers with new shovels», reports the mayor of Villanovaforru Maurizio Onnis, who with his administration has led a technical and judicial battle against the assault on his territory. He discloses the photo of the operations in progress and adds: « It is not far-fetched to hypothesize a convoy traveling on the 131 tomorrow or later. These elements, under the viaducts, pass to the centimetre."
