Great participation at the ribbon cutting for the new Coldiretti “Campagna Amica” Market in Porto Torres. About fifteen stands of fruit, vegetables, bread, meat and fish and cheeses from local producers of Nurra that will be present every Tuesday in Piazza Amsicora.

The inauguration, sponsored by the Municipality, was attended by the Councilor for Productive Activities Salvatore Frulio, the director of Coldiretti Sassari Ermanno Mazzetti, the president of Coldiretti Nord Sardegna Antonello Fois, the head of Campagna Amica Nord Sardegna Lucia Oggiano, the secretary of the Sassari section Davide Murrocu and the local representative Mario Puggioni.

With the new Turritano market, the number of reference points branded “Campagna Amica” for the proposal of agri-food excellence in the name of healthy and quality food rises to eight in Northern Sardinia. As highlighted by Councilor Frulio, «we accepted the producers' request to move the market from its previous location in Largo Sabelli, because they were looking for a more central position and therefore easily reachable by citizens of different neighborhoods, even the most populous ones. And for those who choose to do their shopping by car, there are numerous parking lots available in the surrounding streets».

An enviable position also for the sea view, added Ermanno Mazzetti: «Breathing clean air and eating healthily, what more could we want?». «The producers were satisfied with the sales from the first day – they underlined from Campagna Amica -. The stands will be further integrated and this new space will also allow us to host schools and promote food education even more effectively».
