A day of heavy inconvenience and protests, the one experienced by the passengers of the Ryanair Rimini- Cagliari flight that was supposed to take off at 12.15: in the late afternoon, around 17, they were still crowded in the departure area of the Federico Fellini waiting for an aircraft available.

"Not only that", Giuseppe Mancosu tells L'Unione Sarda, who for hours waited for the boarding together with dozens of tourists and numerous Sardinians, " we did not receive any kind of assistance . When one of us went to the bar with the voucher to ask for food, he was only given a packet of crackers ”.

The difficulties began due to a brief disturbance that prevented the flight from Cagliari to Rimini, which was diverted to Bologna: "Through the applications that monitor the routes", Mancosu explains, "we saw it circling in long before landing. Then he stayed there and no re-routing was organized for us ”.

According to the story, the angry passengers after a long wait decided to block the gates of the other flights: "Everyone was leaving, except us", continues the witness, "and only thanks to the protests the situation was resolved".

The new flight, rescheduled, is expected in Cagliari after 18, five hours after the scheduled time.
