Goodbye to the "complanare", a solution forced in the last two years despite the inconveniences: the diversions on the three-kilometer stretch are being removedDiversions being removed and goodbye to the "complanare", a forced road solution in the last two years despite the inconvenience for motorists. On state road 131, procedures are underway to reopen the northbound carriageway to traffic with the restoration of four-lane traffic on the three-kilometer stretch at the height of Nuraminis, affected by the modernization works.
Traffic in the direction of Cagliari will be brought back to the southbound carriageway, while the opening of the northbound carriageway to traffic will allow traffic in the direction of Sassari. The reopening is being carried out in construction mode, with a speed limit of 50 km/h, Anas reports. The interfering local road system has also been completely restored, in particular the southern junction of Nuraminis and the underpasses of via Villasor and via Satta.
To improve the passability of the 131, the demolition and reconstruction of the overpass to Serramanna should begin between the end of the month and the beginning of November, with the closure of the Nuraminis – Serramanna junction to traffic.
Meanwhile, work continues on the variant section, which should be completed by the first half of 2025. Once completed, says Anas, "the entire modernized section will guarantee the continuity of the safety standards present up to km 108,300".
