While, unfortunately, the searches for Giuseppe and Lorenzo Deiana ( missing in the sea of Golfo Aranci since last Saturday ) continue to have no results , there is a new initiative by the mother of the two young people from Olbia. Simona Deiana has presented a request to the police commissioner, the prefect of Sassari and the public prosecutor of Tempio. The form of the document filed by the woman's lawyer, Pietro Cherchi , is that of a missing persons report , but it is a note with specific requests on a technical level, the result of the work of the lawyer Cherchi, also conducted with the support of consultants.

The authorities are asked to concentrate their searches in the area between Cala del Sonno - Cala Spada – Punta d'India – Figarolo, also with «the exploration on land, inch by inch, by specialized personnel, of the portions of vegetation, including the cliffs». We are talking about the same area where the recoveries of objects that would belong to the two brothers took place.

For the relatives of the missing, it is necessary to acquire, with extreme urgency, the "AIS Tracking" of the boats that "could have passed on Saturday 19 April between 11 am and 8 pm in the area concerned, in order to verify whether there could have been any collision with other boats . It is also requested that the Postal Police access Google Maps through Giuseppe Deiana's computer: this operation is considered relevant because "the last position of the cell phone held by the young man, to which the computer is connected, can thus be recovered".

It must be said that the Maritime Directorate of Olbia has not spared resources and personnel for the searches from the very beginning. The purpose of the latest legal initiative is to provide new ideas to the Civil Protection machine and investigators to continue the searches effectively.
