Every year a new panettone is invented: for this Christmas he prepared it with pistachio with once again positive results. And the novelty is also liked by the finest palates.
Andrea Marci is the master baker of Settimo San Pietro. He was born in Piedmont of Sardinian parents, but he decided to return to Settimo, his mother's town, to pursue his profession. A few years ago, in addition to bread, he decided to try to prepare artisan panettone too, which immediately went like hot cakes. Since then, every December it produces a new one.
"Making bread was not enough for me - he says - so I thought of panettone and pandoro. So I started to knead, all with strictly Sardinian material, from flour, to eggs, to sugar, to milk and sourdough, salt " .
A success dedicated to his father: "From him - he says - I learned a lot. He worked hard, he always had a thousand ideas. That's the way I am too. My luck? Customers who appreciate me and for whom I always try to do the best. They are my strength. On what I do, I always await their judgment ".
