This morning, on the occasion of the feast of Sant'Efisio, patron saint of the Diocese of Cagliari, the «Kalaritana Media Foundation», the new publishing body of the Archdiocese's communications media, was presented.

A new team that wants to work to make communication ever stronger which must be "a bridge", recalled the bishop, Giuseppe Baturi, hoping that the new editorial reality will be at the service not only of information but, in particular, of educational action and cultural and social maturation in the territory «we were born to communicate.

«We must be recognizable in the way we organize work». Don Giulio Madeddu, president of Kalaritana Media and director of the diocesan office for social communications, has, however, highlighted that the establishment of this new Foundation is not functional to creating a merely administrative watershed, but to starting a process of renewal of the communicative practice of the Cagliaritan church.

The management and control bodies of the Foundation, appointed by the Archbishop, are defined as follows: Don Giulio Madeddu, president; Valentina Pistolesi, Gilberto Marras and the priests Nicola Ruggeri and Giuseppe Camboni, councilors; Alberto Giua Marassi is treasurer and Stefano Ponticelli is the statutory auditor. At the end of the conference, the direction of Radio Kalaritana was announced, entrusted to Maria Luisa Secchi, replacing Don Giulio Madeddu.
