There is still a bad weather alert in Sardinia , with the island remaining under the influence of a series of Atlantic disturbances expected to hit with rain, wind and rough seas at least until Monday 9 February.
Specifically, a new, strong low-pressure system will reach Italy this evening , initially worsening in Sardinia . Subsequently, the weather will be intense across the entire Tyrrhenian coast, from Tuscany to Calabria, until tomorrow afternoon, when the low-pressure system will move toward the Balkans and the weather will temporarily improve.
Further rain is expected this morning on Saturday . The same situation will prevail on Sunday, with rain starting in the afternoon on the island and moving towards the southern peninsula and Sicily in the evening.
Whatever happens, umbrellas will remain open at least until mid-month; the only consolation will be that temperatures will remain above average for the period.
