The grandmother of Settimo San Pietro died, Maria Carta was 102 years old
Last November she was celebrated by family members, the mayor and the parish priest of the town

The grandmother of Settimo San Pietro died at the age of 102: Maria Carta was celebrated by her family last November in the presence of the mayor Gigi Puddu, the councilor for social services Nicoletta Pitzalis and the parish priest, Don Giuseppe Orrù.
She was not married, she lived in the cult of her brothers and nephews, always supported by an iron faith. Granny has been to Lourdes eleven times and three to Fatima on organized trips.
Great condolences to Settimo for his death. The funeral will take place today at 3.30 pm in the parish church of Settimo San Pietro.
