Adult members attended BLSD courses
The inauguration ceremony of the semi-automatic defibrillator (Dae) took place this morning, which from today is at the service of the Agesci Quartu 3 scout group headquarters, in via Eligio Porcu.
The apparatus was donated by Cas.Co.Di (commander and chief engineer assistance fund), by Uslac (Union Union of Captains along the Command Course), by UNCDiM (National Union of Chief Engineer Captains), and by SMACD (State Major Qualified for Command or Engineering Direction).
The adult members of the group took part in the BLSD courses created with the support of the Accademia del Soccorso and Quartu Soccorso OdV.
«We are happy to be able to give our girls and boys, girls and boys, and their families a reason to be safer» say group leaders Stefano Cogoni and Roberta Piras. «The DAE will accompany the activities carried out with our boys both in the headquarters and in the open air, where we carry out our activities annually, in order to guarantee prompt intervention in the event of cardiac arrests, even in areas of our region not easily reachable in a short time by the 118 emergency services".
