The countryside is burning in Orosei: two helicopters in action and the teams on the ground

Flames in Orosei, with a large fire developing in the late morning between the localities of "Sa Minda" and "Sos Alinos". Close to various accommodation facilities and residential areas, a stone's throw from the sea.

Two helicopters from the regional fleet arrived on site from the Farcana base, as well as ground teams and volunteers.

Several hectares have so far gone up in smoke, in an area full of scrub and Mediterranean scrub.
