It is impossible not to notice it. It is unlikely not to be amazed by its 140 meters of extraordinary elegance. Here is Yas, the super-luxurious yacht docked for two days at the Molo Ichnusa in Cagliari.

The owner is Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, of which he was also Foreign Minister, a global symbol of luxury and petrodollars, but also known for his pro-Atlantic positions. One of the ten richest and most powerful men in the world, so to speak.

No one knows if he also arrived in Sardinia (for some secret negotiation? And with whom?) or only the 56 men and women of the crew. What is known is that the mega-yacht is moored at Molo Icnhusa : costing 180 million dollars, Yas is the eleventh largest yacht in the world and is a former frigate of the Dutch navy, modernized and transformed into a real floating palace.

Seen from the bow it looks like a huge dolphin, with that grandiose glass window with rounded shapes. Hypermodern and luxurious interiors (designed by Pierrejean Design, a Parisian studio specializing in airplanes and yachts) and comforts of every kind, starting from a swimming pool/hydromassage with mini waterfall and, on the upper deck, even a helipad. What is it doing in Cagliari?
