Tertenia, falls at home in Sarrala: 11-year-old transferred by helicopter to Cagliari

He suffered a cut on his head when he fell in the family home in Sarrala.

An 11-year-old boy from Tertenia was injured perhaps after falling from a staircase outside the building, in the Nastasi area.

The accident happened in the early afternoon today. The family members raised the alarm on 118 and on site the Sassari operations center arranged for the Tertenia Green Cross crew to intervene and rescue the boy.

But due to the age and dynamics of the event, the plant deemed it appropriate to send the Areus helicopter to Sarrala. The team stabilized the little patient, who remained alert and conscious at all times, before being transferred to hospital in Cagliari where all instrumental tests were carried out.
