He'd never been comfortable with that electronic bracelet. And after the arson attack on his villa, he managed to slip it off. Battista Manis, who has been in jail since Tuesday on charges of voluntary manslaughter for the death of Claudio Manca, says so bluntly in one of the videos posted on social media: "I don't have the bracelet anymore."

For three or four days, he was without the device, as ordered by the judge . And those were special days, culminating in the tragic end of the 49-year-old, found lifeless last Friday in a canal on the Terralba ring road.

The 52-year-old entrepreneur published several videos in the aftermath of the intimidation. And those clips ended up playing a crucial role in the entire investigation.
