Uras, a truck overturns: Highway 131 closed

A truck carrying a suspended platform overturned on the 131 near the Terralba exit. The heavy vehicle completely blocked the road, which has been closed by traffic police officers in Laconi.

For reasons yet to be determined, the driver lost control of the vehicle, which overturned. He exited the vehicle on his own and called for help.

The Highway Patrol, the Oristano fire department, and ANAS workers were on the scene. The road was closed to allow the vehicle to be removed safely. Traffic was diverted to side streets, but long queues formed.
