On Tuesday, December 16, the inauguration of the Anti-Violence Center, a center for listening, protection, and support, will take place in Tempio Pausania, on Via Olbia. The center will be named after Elisabetta Naddeo, a victim of femicide in 2002 and "our fellow citizen," writes Anna Paola Aisoni, deputy mayor, councilor for social services, and vice president of the Province of Gallura, "of whom we all have an indelible memory. It will be a day of commitment and culture against gender violence."
The day's program is as follows: from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Teatro del Carmine, "Non sono solo parole" (It's Not Just Words), a performance against gender violence for the city's high school students. Performers include Ambra Pintore – vocals and direction –, Federico Valenti – guitars – and Pierpaolo Vacca – accordion. Production: Istranzos de domo Cultural Association. From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the inauguration of the new PLUS Anti-Violence Center, of which Tempio is the lead municipality, will take place. The center will be named after Elisabetta Naddeo, with the installation of a red bench by FNP CISL and CISL Gallura. At 7:00 p.m., again at the Teatro del Carmine, a musical performance and reflection on the theme of violence will take place, featuring Paolo Fresu, Pierpaolo Vacca, and Marta Loddo. Admission is free.
