146 people have been sanctioned in recent weeks in Sassari thanks to the new cameras installed by the administration and used by the local police with photo-traps that continue to immortalize uncivilized people who illegally give waste.

In recent days, a commercial activity was sanctioned for having abandoned dozens of boxes of paper on the street. The author, in particular, has thrown waste on the ground (a choice that in some cases leads to criminal consequences), has not reduced the volume of the cardboard (as required by the legislation in force) and has not respected the prohibition for users. non-servants to use street bins. Finally he conferred outside the allowed hours.

Of the 146 sanctions notified by the local police in recent weeks, 88 were issued against users of the "door to door" service who illegally conferred in bins. Another 25 sanctions were issued against those who gave in black envelopes and 30 to inhabitants of other municipalities who came as far as Sassari to throw their garbage. Finally, three for abandonment of waste on the ground. The sum of several violations against the same people (transfer out of hours, in black busters and from neighboring areas, for example) has led to the imposition of a fine of 1500 euros.

The municipal administration has already announced that it is ready to install new latest generation photo-traps, to allow total and capillary control of the territory, from the city center to the villages.
