Struck by an illness in the water, he dies in Orosei

Drama this morning, around 10.30, in the Marina of Orosei. A 64-year-old man, originally from Orgosolo, died after falling ill while bathing.

The Orosei 118 doctors immediately arrived on the beach and attempted to save his life, but to no avail: the sixty-four-year-old died in the arms of the rescuers. Even the arrival of the air ambulance on site was useless.

Yesterday a dramatically similar scene occurred on the beach of San Nicolò, in Buggerru. Filippo Onnis, 47 years old, from Guspini, collapsed on the shoreline while he was preparing to swim: help was useless.
