A 50-year-old homeless from Cagliari arrested by the carabinieri for theft of lemons.

The man broke into the courtyard of a house in Cagliari, in via Sant'Andrea at night, to plunder a citrus tree. However, the owner noticed it and alerted 112.

An Arma patrol then intervened on the spot. The military found the man hiding in the trees in the courtyard and also recovered a backpack with nearly 6 kilos of freshly cut lemons .

The 50-year-old was thus stopped and held in a security room , waiting to appear before the judge for the very direct trial .
