The first major decision regarding the weather alert has arrived: the Sardinian Civil Protection has ordered the closure of State Road 195, along the coastal stretch between Cagliari and Capoterra, from kilometer 5 to kilometer 11. Traffic was suspended shortly before 12:00 p.m. The alternative route is State Road 130.

The Civil Protection officials are all at the headquarters on Via Vittorio Veneto in Cagliari: State Road 195 is blocked due to the risk of flooding caused by the storm surge.

Meanwhile, in Gairo , in Ogliastra, a landslide was recorded which led to the closure of the State Road 198.
