State Road 195, a daily nightmare of construction sites and accidents: long queues
A collision near Cagliari resulted in traffic being blocked. Shortly beforehand, the ANAS highway authorities restricted the roadway to deploy central New Jersey barriers.

It's not just the safety work on the central reservation on State Road 195 that's underway: accidents are also making traffic a daily nightmare for thousands of motorists traveling to and from Cagliari.
It happened yesterday morning, and it happened again today, with a chain reaction collision in the stretch preceding the bend leading onto the Scaffa bridge.
The result? A very long queue with extended travel times and workers and students late.
Shortly before, along the four-lane stretch, ANAS is working on replacing the central "New Jersey" barriers. This work is a continuation of previous work, completed on July 24th, which involved two kilometers of road near the coast. This new phase involves the installation of an additional two kilometers of barriers , which will narrow both lanes and close the overtaking lanes.
How long does it last? About two months.
