Sports equipment, benches and play areas: the new Via Roma takes shape in Cagliari
Journey through the central walkway of the construction site where green spaces are still missing

There are benches that "look" towards the port. There are swings and an entire equipped play area, next to a bench and various outdoor fitness equipment. What is missing, for the moment, are green areas.
Boeri's project for the large square on the sea in via Roma, Cagliari, is taking shape. And under the porticoes, traders and passers-by are wondering about the future.
Giuseppe Farris, lawyer and municipal councilor of Civica 2024, explains: «The installation of the swings two meters from the tracks of the surface subway is the most evident sign of the madness of this work».
