A woman was injured in a serious road accident that occurred this afternoon around 4:00 p.m., along the state road 131 dcn, between the Orotelli and Orani junctions . The driver, aboard a Fiat Panda, lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet to be ascertained : the car skidded, left the road and overturned, ending up in a country field.

The rescue team intervened immediately. The injured woman was treated on site and then transported by 118 helicopter to the hospital in Nuoro .

The Macomer Fire Department team secured the accident site. Traffic Police officers were also present to carry out the necessary surveys and manage traffic.
