There are six suspects in the death of Ignazio Sessini, the 56-year-old worker from Villaservice in Villacidro who was found lifeless in the plant on 5 July 2021.
The Public Prosecutor's Office of Cagliari disputes the aggravated manslaughter against managers and managers of the company that manages the waste disposal plant.
Under accusation, with the investigation just closed, there are Antonella Concas, Davide Sardu, Alessandro Lai, Massimo Cortese, Efisio Deiana and Cristiano Cabriolu: for the investigators, Sessini's death would not have been the result of a tragic fatality that could not be avoided.
According to the reconstruction of the prosecutor's office, the worker was at work without the safety devices. And for this he met his death in the garbage disposal.
