Tragedy in a clinic in Sinnai with the death of a 65-year-old pensioner, Paola Pusceddu . The suspicion is that the woman , who had not been feeling very well in recent days, was killed by anaphylactic shock after an antibiotic injection , with death being immediate .

The tragedy occurred before 1:00 p.m., when the woman went to the clinic on Via Trieste for a visit. Rescue attempts were unsuccessful, and a defibrillator was also used.

An ambulance and the Sinnai local police , coordinated by Captain Giuseppe Fiori, who is carrying out the investigations , also arrived on site.

Anaphylactic shock is a sudden, severe, life-threatening allergic reaction, as in this case, which can affect multiple organs at the same time.

The magistrate, Dr. Andrea Vacca , ordered the seizure of the body , transferred to the morgue of the cemetery of Sinnai for the necessary checks. Tomorrow morning at 11 the necropsy report will be carried out: the examination has been assigned to Dr. Alberto Chichini of the University of Cagliari.

The news was met with great grief in Sinnai, where the Pusceddu family is well-known and esteemed.

The funeral will probably take place at the beginning of the week in the parish church of Sinnai.
