A 38-year-old young man from Sinnai was arrested by the police at the station to serve three years and nine months in prison for a robbery in Cagliari in 2019 and for carrying a rifle in 2018.

The prison order issued by the Cagliari prosecutor's office refers to an episode in 2018 when the suspect was arrested by the carabinieri of the Quartu operational unit for possession of a rifle and ammunition, for receiving stolen goods and for resisting a public official. All crimes that cost him a 16-month prison sentence.

The second episode dates back to 2019 when the young man was accused of a robbery committed in a public exercise in Cagliari which cost him a new sentence of two years and eight months in prison. Now the prison order ordered by the prosecutor (in the meantime the suspect had already served a few months in prison).

The judge drew the sum: the suspect still has to serve three years and nine months in prison: hence the arrest made by the Sinnai carabinieri with transfer to Uta prison. In the past, the young man has also been accused of fraud, with proceedings yet to be defined.
