Federico Uras of the extended-term class 2 B of the Comprehensive Institute number 1 in via Trento, in Sinnai, will represent the school at the national final of the Mathematical Games of the Bocconi University in Milan.
After passing the various selections, finishing 14th in the 27th regional semi-final of the international championships of the Mathematical Games, held on March 16th at the University Citadel of Monserrato, Federico Uras will take part in the national final - Category C1 in Milan on May 25th.
Mathematical games are an opportunity to introduce students to the practice of mathematics, a discipline that has always been considered difficult.
There have been many students from the Sinnai school who over the years, having passed the regional selection, have had the opportunity to experience the national final in Milan.
Federico said he decided to participate in the Mathematical Games to test himself. «The whole school - says teacher Alice Piras - is proud of him and of the goal achieved so far. A great satisfaction for him and for our entire school."
