Sinnai has lost its centenarian grandmother. Her name was Giuseppina Manca and she was 104 years old.
She was originally from Maracalagonis , she lived for a long time in different centers and in Nurri in particular, where she worked as a postal employee. In Nurri she also met her husband Luigi Pedditzi , also from Maracalagonis, who was a forester. She also had many relatives in Sinnai where she lived for the last 46 years, being part of Catholic Action and the Legio Maria. She lived with her daughter, Maria Ausilia Pedditzi, in the musicians' neighborhood, and with her daughter and son-in-law Pierangelo Soi she made pilgrimages on foot from Sinnai to Bonaria several times.
She also took care of the pilgrimage of the Madonnina in the neighborhoods of Sinnai: a woman of faith, mother of five children, four boys and a girl.
