A mixed-breed dog that bit a pedestrian in the Sinnai area the other day has been seized and handed over to its owner.

This isn't the first time it's happened. The mixed-breed dog, registered with the canine registry and microchipped, was on a leash when his owner suddenly bit a passerby. Local police responded immediately and conducted the necessary investigations.

A municipal ordinance followed, requiring the animal's health to be monitored in accordance with current regulations.

The "biting" dog was thus entrusted to the owner's custody
at his home, under observation until November 7.
