The Sinnai City Council has approved the public works plan to be completed with a surplus of approximately 900 thousand euros.

The agenda, presented by Councilor for Taxes and Public Works Katiuscia Concas, includes extraordinary maintenance of urban roads costing €300,000, extraordinary maintenance of rural roads, paths, and canals costing €80,000, and repairs to the roof of the gymnasium on Via Perra costing €100,000. Furthermore, extraordinary maintenance of the former caretaker's house on Via Caravaggio (€70,000), and the redevelopment of Piazza 2 Agosto 1980 and Santa Vittoria for another €110,000.

Also planned are the supply and installation of children's playground equipment for Sinnai and Solanas (€20,000), extraordinary maintenance work on the Via Caravaggio nursery school (€70,000), the study of the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (PAESC) (€50,000), and the design of plans for the elimination of architectural barriers (PEBA) (€30,000). The resolution was unanimously approved by the majority councilors present in the chamber.

"We have chosen to allocate the administrative surplus," commented Mayor Barbara Pusceddu and Councilor Katiuscia Concas, "to concrete and targeted interventions, responding to the needs of the local area. There are many problems: the goal is to recover funding and invest it according to the real needs of the town and the region."
