Siniscola, a car on fire in La Caletta: a Panda destroyed

Fear erupted at dawn in La Caletta, a hamlet of Siniscola, where around 4:40 a.m. a fire engulfed three vehicles parked in Piazza dei Mille . Team 9A of the Siniscola fire department responded to the scene.

The flames completely destroyed a Fiat Panda, which was reportedly the first car to catch fire. The fire also damaged a Hyundai Tucson parked nearby, owned by tourists.

Only the rapid intervention of the firefighters prevented the worst, managing to put out in time the flames that had also started to engulf a Mitsubishi Pajero, which fortunately remained unharmed.

Firefighters secured the area and completely extinguished the fire. Police officers from the Siniscola police station and forensic scientists were also on site, and the team has begun investigations to determine the cause of the blaze.

According to initial information, the owners of the Fiat Panda and Mitsubishi Pajero own a business in Posada. Arson has not been ruled out, although the investigation is ongoing.
