Simala, home burglary: thieves escaped with an arsenal

A robbery in recent days was carried out in a house in Simala and the thieves escaped with a real arsenal: rifles, pistols and even a katana.
It was the owner of the house, a 62-year-old trader, who raised the alarm when he realized that the metal cabinets had been broken into and completely emptied.

His rifle, two pistols, a rocket launcher, a katana and over 150 cartridges of various calibers were missing. And the weapons owned by the brother, still kept in Simala's house, were taken away: a rifle, two shotguns, carbines, a revolver.

The thieves also escaped with 1500 euros in cash. The investigations by the Carabinieri of the Mogoro company and the investigative unit of the Oristano provincial command were immediate.
