A marijuana plant and 79 doses already packaged and ready for sale . This is what the Carabinieri of the Siliqua station discovered yesterday afternoon in the home of a 36-year-old local man , unemployed and already known to law enforcement. The man was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.

The operation is the result of a targeted investigative effort conducted by the military, with observation services and checks in the area. The investigations and constant monitoring of the man's movements therefore led to the targeted intervention. During the house search , the Carabinieri found a total of 89 grams of marijuana , most of which had already been divided into 79 doses ready for sale.

A mature cannabis plant was also found inside the home, as well as material used to package the drug . After completing the formal procedures at the police station, the 36-year-old was escorted to his home and placed under house arrest.
