Sexual assault on a young girl: Sassari, 68-year-old sentenced to 5 years
According to the charges, the man also threatened the victim - 12 years old - to keep her quiet

68-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting relative's 12-year-old daughter sentenced to 5 years and 4 months.
The defendant, tried with the abbreviated procedure in Sassari, allegedly molested and groped the minor's private parts on several occasions in 2015, according to the charges.
The man also allegedly threatened the girl to prevent her from revealing anything about what had happened.
The verdict was ordered by Judge Giuseppe Grotteria, the prosecutor is Maria Paola Asara. The defense attorney for the 68-year-old is Roberto Lepera, the civil party lawyers are Stefano Porcu, Silvia Ferraris and Antonio Sanna.
